Jude Hudson - Entrepreneur. Builder. Founder.

You only need to hit one home run in business to be a success. And sometimes, you are just one try away.

01

The First Deal

My journey in business began at the age of 6, selling used golf balls. I lived next to a golf course. I would collect balls from our back field, clean and organize them by condition and brand, package them in egg cartons, and sell them from the fence line near the 9th hole tee-off area. I was earning enough to pay for my own video games and toys.

The First Lesson

That early experience taught me something fundamental: look for the opportunities around you. Roll up your sleeves and put in the effort, soon enough, it will pay off.

03

The Foundation

From paper routes at 9 to warehouses at 17, and everything in between, I took every job I could find and gave each one everything I had. None of them were my dream, but every single one taught me persistence, adaptability, and how to connect with people. That became the foundation of everything that followed.

Before the breakthrough

The Turning Point

Between ages 18 and 22, I moved into marketing and promotion, and that's where I found my passion. I briefly studied political science at 22, then faced a difficult period between ages 23 and 25. As much as I greatly regret this time in my life, the experience became a turning point. It taught me fundamentally who I am and who I am not.

At 26, I returned to sales with renewed focus, sharpening my skills under some of the best in the industry. In 2008, I launched a pet products business — the Happy Dog Potty and Potty Park — and working alongside my family was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

Our product reached patent pending status, but we ultimately had to close after a conflicting patent was filed just three months before ours in Australia.

It was a hard reality. But it taught me that every failure is a step closer to success, and that you can never give up.

 One Home Run - iWantClips

In 2013, I started developing what would eventually become iWantClips. The journey demanded years of iteration, refinement, and relentless pursuit. But it confirmed my core belief. You only need to hit one home run in business to be a success. iWantClips is that home run. It's been built over more than a decade on the idea that sometimes, you are just one try away.

Anybody Can Do It

I didn't have a great education, or even a completed one. I didn't have an amazing network. I didn't start life rich, and I've gone through times that made success seem far from reality.  But through sheer belief and persistence, I succeeded. Any goal can be achieved if you set your mind to it — the only variable is the amount of time it takes. If you keep pursuing the goal, you will achieve it.

By the Numbers

Not luck. Not connections. Just effort, resilience, and the refusal to stop.

Building Up People, Not Just Businesses

At Stack United, Jude leads the way he always has, by investing in people first. He believes a business is only as strong as the team behind it, and he backs that belief with action: supporting his team members personally and professionally, at times even investing in the education of several teammates along the way.

That same philosophy shaped everything under the Stack United umbrella, including iWantClips, a platform Jude built as a safe, trusted space where content creators own their work and set their own terms. For Jude, success has never been about one company or one product but about creating environments where people can grow, earn, and build something of their own.

Beliefs

I've failed, closed businesses, and gone through times that made success seem completely out of reach. But every one of those moments shaped what I believe, and what I believe carried me through.

I didn't start with money, connections, or even a finished education. What I had was effort and the refusal to stop. If I can do it, anybody can.

Every failure is a step closer to success. Every attempt builds the hunger to get it right.
Set your goal, believe in it completely, and keep going. The only thing that can change is the date by which you get there.

Beyond Business

Outside of work, I'm driven by the same curiosity and energy that built my career. I've always believed that how you live outside of business reflects who you truly are.

I love to travel and have been fortunate enough to explore some incredible parts of the world. Every new place teaches me something, and I carry those experiences back into everything I do. Immersing myself in different cultures always broadens my horizons and sparks fresh ideas.

I'm equally at home on a hiking trail, on horseback, or on a ski slope. Pushing my limits physically keeps me sharp mentally. The same discipline it takes to get to the top of a mountain is the same discipline that built my career.

Ultimately, it’s this continuous pursuit of growth, whether on a rugged peak or in the boardroom, that keeps me moving forward.

Let's Connect

I'm always open to meeting new people, hearing new ideas, and exploring potential partnerships. If something resonated with you, reach out.
